Postgraduate Programmes:
Scholarships for Higher Studies
The Foundation offers interest free loan scholarships to meritorious students hoping to pursue post graduate studies in India and abroad. Open to students throughout the country, and covering a wide variety of disciplines, the scholarship includes a unique mentoring process. Awardees are currently pursuing education in pure and applied sciences, social sciences and management studies at some of the world's leading institutions - Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, Stanford and Berkeley.

Merit Scholarships for Post Graduate Studies in Medicine
Scholarships are awarded to meritorious medical students in their first year of post-graduate studies.
Undergraduate Scholarships
The Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation offers the following merit and need-based scholarships for students at the undergraduate level:
Undergraduate Scholarships in Engineering
Every year, the Foundation offers an Excellence Award, two Certificates of Merit, and one hundred Merit-cum-Means Scholarships to undergraduate engineering students. Thirteen institutions benefit from this programme.
Undergraduate Scholarships in Medicine
Nine institutions are included in the programme, which offers an Excellence Award, two Certificates of Merit, fifty Merit scholarships for books and fifty Merit-cum-Means Scholarships. These opportunities are extended to undergraduate medical students every year.
Undergraduate Scholarships for Children of Police Personnel
Five Excellence Awards are offered to the children of police personnel. These scholarships support students in their final year of professional courses.

Ph.D. Research Fellowships
The Foundation awards Research Fellowships to three Ph.D. students at the University of Mumbai, and three at the University of Pune. These Fellowships are offered to students pursuing doctoral studies in Physics, Chemistry and Political Science at the University of Mumbai, and Computer Science, Pali and Hindi at the University of Pune.
Staff Fellowships in Medicine
A number of Fellowship opportunities are offered by the Foundation to medical, teaching, nursing, para-medical and technical staff. These Fellowships sponsor training at centres of excellence in India.
Fellowships for Medical Education and Training
Young surgical residents at the Prince Aly Khan and Tata Memorial Hospitals can access p;the Foundation's medical education Fellowships. These Fellowships cover specialized training in the area of Head and Neck Oncology, and programmes accredited to the National Board of examinations for the conferment of the Diplomat of the board.
Fellowship in Cleft Surgery
The Foundation has instituted an annual Fellowship for Indian surgeons in the field of cleft surgery. Awardees are offered an opportunity to train with Prof M Mommaerts at the A Z Sint-Jan AV Hospital in Bruges, Belgium.
Fellowships for Trainee Conservation Architects
Three Fellowships are awarded annually to graduate architects in the field of preservation of architectural heritage at the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) in Pondicherry.
The Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation has instituted four Student Fellowships at the M. A. level in Sanskrit & Lexicography in the University for two years. The Fellowships are called "Narotam Sekhsaria Sanskrit & Lexicography Fellowship"
Fellowships to Students of Sanskrit and Lexicography, Deccan College, Pune
Deccan College is the third oldest educational institution in the country and is housed in a 125 acres campus in beautiful and very well preserved Gothic buildings. The college has three departments with 120 masters and PHD students. The Department of Archaeology is one of the premier centers for teaching and research in Asia. The Department of Linguistics is the oldest Department of Modern Linguistics in India. While the college has a long illustrious tradition of Sanskrit studies, the Department of Sanskrit & Lexicography started only in 2010 – 2011 and has the distinction of being the only university in the entire country which combines both these studies.

The Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation started the NSF Higher Secondary Awards in 2005 to support meritorious students of the lower income group to continue their education after the completion of SSC. The scholarships are administered by the Bombay Community Public Trust.
