Yashashwini Samajik Abhiyan

Yashaswini Samajik Abhiyan, founded in 2008, is a non-profit venture of Yashwantrao Chavan Prathistan, Mumbai. It is registered under section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956. Yashaswini Samajik Abhiyan's main objectives are to undertake and promote economic, educational, cultural & social activities for the underprivileged group, and to enhance their prospects by promoting small scale businesses, by developing a market in India and abroad for the supply of goods manufactured and produced by local producers and SHG's.

The Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation Supports- Capacity building of the SHGs to promote and market the products prepared by them. The support has enabled the SHG members to develop their business potential.

Kherwadi Social Welfare Association (KSWA)

Founded by a group of social workers in 1928, and registered as an NGO in 1954, KSWA is a vision of the late Shri B. G. Kher. The healthcare, education and vocational training provided by KSWA offers support and empowerment to individuals residing in slums between Bandra East and Khar East, Mumbai.

The Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation supports the Yuva Pratishthan Centre at Thane, an outreach centre of the Kherwadi Social Welfare Association. Through this project, school students are offered vocational courses in areas such as tailoring and fashion design, beauty, mehendi, mobile repairs, driving and computer hardware. Over 500 students trained at the Yuva Pratishthan Centre are either self-employed or working for an industry.

Victory Arts Foundation (VAF)

Since 2004 the Victory Arts Foundation (VAF) identifies potential dancing talent among children who would usually have no access to the joy of dance. VAF brings dance training to underprivileged children, alongside physically and mentally challenged children through a partnership with nearly 35 NGOs in Mumbai.

A passionate, dedicated team of instructors from SPIDA conduct VAF classes for the children of NGOs twice a week. VAF has so far opened 70 centres across India, bringing a love for dance to over 5000 children and adults.

The Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation supports the Peer Group Educator's Program, an initiative to train 50 underprivileged, mostly out of school youth to become instructors with VAF and SPIDA.

Setu Charitable Trust

The trust is involved in rehabilitation of child labour, women's empowerment, literacy, communal harmony and community health.

As a part of its endevour to rehabilitate child labour, the Trust has started vocational training centres in Parbhani and Aurangabad Districts in Maharashtra.

The Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation's support to Setu has been towards human resources and infrastructure development for the vocational training centres.
